Registration 8:00 a.m.  Competition starts at 9:00 a.m.

Each year the Washington Elementary School District conducts a canned food drive to restock the St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance after the holiday push.  By February, most food banks have been tapped and there is a need to refill.   As a school, our National Junior Honor Society is responding to this need by hosting our second annual Battle Eagle, which will turn our campus into a fun obstacle course, similar to a Battle Frog.  If you are unfamiliar with the concept, teams of four will run an obstacle course through the school for the best time.  Each team must complete 17 obstacles.  Every fourth obstacle needs to be completed by the whole team.  Teams can be made up of four boys, or four girls, or two boys and two girls, or any combination with families including adults.  The top times will win a prize for their group.  The entry fee can be one of three options: 15 cans of food per person, 40 pounds of canned food per team, or a $20.00 donation to purchase canned food per person.

Registration  can take place the morning of the event, or with Katie Piehl

We hope you will support this fun and community-oriented event.
