We miss our students, but we hope everyone is safe as the summer comes to an end.  We are just as committed to providing your student with a great experience as we would be if circumstances were different. For now, we will be continuing our classes virtually.  This page has been created to link the many resources together, so families may negotiate the weeks to come.

There are a few important resources you should know as a parent.
1. The teacher directory from the Mountain Sky web page CLICK HERE
There you can find teacher email addresses and Google site links.  Those will allow you to contact                    teachers.

2. ParentVue or StudentVue  CLICK HERE.  Class schedules, grades, attendance, and messages are available             through these valuable resources.

3.  Google Classrooms - Your student will be sent an invitation to join each teacher's Google classroom.                  There they will find links to the virtual classes, assignments, and materials.

4.  The Washington Elementary School District  Website CLICK HERE.  This site has parent resources which explain how to connect, food services, and tech. support.

5.  This page which will continue to provide updates regarding resources - see the attached documents.

6. Attendance Line- 602 896-6121.  Attendance will be taken for the day, so if you student will not be online           for the day, please call  them in absent. We will be reaching out to families and students to check on               how they are doing.  So if they are not called out absent, we will be checking with you if we are not                 seeing your student in attendance.

7. Our student support team - Please contact the following staff for social and emotional related concerns
Karen Mull - Counselor ( - mental health concerns

Day 1 and Day 2 Schedules

Another way to limit time online is through a two day rotation.  Math and Language Arts will continue to meet every day, while other classes will alternate between days one and two.  This means students will not necessarily have Social Studies and Science meetings every day.  Again, this is designed to lower the average time a student needs to be in front of their computer.  On Wednesdays, all classes will meet in shorter whole groups.

The Virtual School Day

  • Each day will begin with all students logging into Advisory (zero period on their schedules) at 8:55 am.  There will be The Pledge, announcements and Social Emotional Lessons created by the WESD social services department.  These research-based lessons will reconnect students in this challenging time.
  • After Advisory, students will begin logging into their Core and Elective classes as assigned to them on their schedule.  We will have schedules posted on ParentVue and StudentVue.  As explained above, Students will attend odd number periods one day and even number periods the next.  Math and Language Arts will be both days.
  • A lunch break will be provided from 12:05 p.m. to 12:35 p.m. for both 7th and 8th grade students daily.
  • Office hours and universal interventions will begin after 7th or 8th periods at 3:30 p.m. daily.
  • All online activity will end by 4:00 p.m.
