Welcome to the Mountain Sky Junior High Library
The purpose of our library is to support students' development as lifelong learners and readers. This is accomplished by giving students access to resources and teaching them to evaluate information; the very skills needed to be successful in the Age of Information.
Library skills and information-literacy instruction encourage responsible behavior and the ethical treatment of others, both in-person and online. It is our goal to encourage students to practice the most fundamental skill: reading.
LIBRARY HOURS
Regular hours on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday are 9:00 a.m. to 4:05 p.m. On Wednesdays, the library closes at 2:35 p.m.
The library may be open during lunch, depending on which classes are scheduled to be in the library that day. Students who are looking for a quiet place to read or do homework may attend study hall from 8:30 a.m. to 8:55 a.m.
